Visitor phone numbers
Visitors can give a phone number when they sign in. It's optional.
Why we ask
So that whoever is running a roll-call during an evacuation can call a visitor who is unaccounted for.
Who can see it
While the visitor is on site, the number appears in:
- the Signed-in List email;
- signed-in view-only links.
When it's deleted
Phone numbers are deleted automatically overnight once the visitor has signed out. Numbers belonging to visitors who are still signed in are kept until they leave. The rest of the visit record (name, company, times) is kept for the period your admin chooses in data retention.
